Welcome to come here all year round to try more than 30 types of active recreation. In summer, you can go sup-boarding and kayaking, try yachting and kite-surfing, take a walk in the Lapland Nature Reserve or cycle around the lakes. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing, walk around the Nature Reserve in snowshoes, visit the Lapark ski centre and try snowkiting.
Every month in Monchegorsk and its neighbourhood Imandra Fest - a major festival about nature, sport and active recreation - takes place. Bring your friends and family and discover the power of Imandra!
On October 4 and 5, 2025, Imandra Go will host regional Nordic walking competitions for residents of the Murmansk region and guests of the region. Participants will enjoy amateur trails, PRO-level competitive events, and special routes with guides. The atmosphere of a sporting festival, the northern landscapes, and the friendly atmosphere are all part of Imandra Go.

How to get to Monchegorsk
Monchegorsk is located in the very center of the Kola Peninsula, on the federal highway "Kola", connecting St. Petersburg and Murmansk. Travel time from Murmansk is about 1.5 hours, from Apatity and Kirovsk - about an hour.
